PURPOSE:To prevent picture quality from being deteriorated by integrating a DC component of a horizontal synchronizing signal in a video signal of base band and eliminating noise superimposed on the DC component. CONSTITUTION:A 1st noise elimination circuit 9a consists of an integration circuit comprising an amplifier A1, a resistor R2 and a capacitor C2 and a switch SW4 closed in response to a timing control signal S3 to form the integration circuit. The 1st noise elimination circuit 9a integrates the DC component of a horizontal synchronizing signal in the base band video signal to eliminate noise superimposed on the DC component. Thus, an AGC voltage of an AGC circuit in a television receiver is not affected due to noise and deterioration in picture quality resulting from brightness change comprising thin lines in the lateral direction on a pattern is not caused. |
