In a fodder for animals, esp. for useful mammals, contg. fat with a high proportion of satd. fatty acids and/or satd. fatty acids or mixts. in particulate form, at least part of the particles has a core contg. an emulsifier, encased in fat and/or fatty acids or mixts.. The emulsifier is a glyceride, esp. a mono- and/or di-glyceride, of food fatty acid(s). The fatty acid (or mixt.) is mainly medium- to long-chain (from 12C). Emulsifier powder is charged into a cooling tower, and the emulsifier grains are encased by a spray process. USE/ADVANTAGE - The fodder is esp. for ruminants. The fats or fatty acids are utilised more completely, and digestive disturbances are prevented.
