PURPOSE:To prevent bad influence of a silicone rubber adhesive on an optical memory medium and to prevenet moisture from entering into the optical memory medium having two substrates by forming a hard coating layer for each substrate between the memory medium and the silicone rubber adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:On a light-transimissive substrate 1 comprisiong polycarbonate resin, etc., there are formed a dielectric film, magnetic film and reflecting film by sputtering to constitute the optical memory medium 2. The surface of the medium 2 opposite to the substrate 1 is covered with a hard coating layer 3, which is formed by applying an acrylic hard coating material on the medium and curing with UV light. The hard coating layer 3 prevents bad influence of the silicone rubber adhesive on the optical memory medium. Moreover, the layer 3 prevents long-term entrance of moisture into the medium 2 although the silicone rubber adhesive is permeable. |
