PURPOSE: To attain automatic tape bonding of a high lead number device, by allowing an extension loop to have two forks forming a couple of branches, allowing each branch to have a plurality of segments matching a lead in an axial direction, and selecting the sum of the length of the segments to be longer than a distance between the forks. CONSTITUTION: An extension loop 40b has a couple of branches 50, and the branches 50 are connected to a fork 52 formed in each lead 12. Each branch has a first segment 54, the first segment 54 matches the lead 12 in an axial direction and connects to the lead by a couple of segments 56. When the lead 12 is offset in the case of bonding to a substrate, a tensile strength is exerted to the lead in the axial direction, then the forks 52 are stretched in a parting direction. When the forks 52 are moved in the parting direction, the length of the first segment 54 is increased and then the loop 40b is extended. |
