DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CROPPING OF HOT ROLLING STEEL

PURPOSE:To reduce the cropping cost of a hot rolling steel by performing the cropping treatment which utilizes a trolley conveyor moved between both a crop loading and carrying-out positions. CONSTITUTION:A cutting machine 12 and cropping pusher 13 are provided on one side along the rolling member transfer line 10 formed inside a factory building A and a crop 11 is generated. A trolley conveyor 2 is provided along the other side of the rolling member transfer line 10, it is led to the building 4 outside, passes through a crop recovery bag 3 as for a crop discharging position, made to return to the transfer line 10 again and a carriage 1 as a crop carrier is allowed to travel. Consequently, the cropping utilizing the air can be executed, the reduction of the construction cost of a processing device and the drastic shortening of a construction period can be realized.
