CONNECTING STUFF FOR PAPER AND CARDBOARD

The material enables the production of high quality paper and cardboard with increased mechanical strength, improved finish and humidity resistance. The bonding material is a rosin-modified (in our case rosin saponified with sodium hydroxide) styrene-acrylate dispersion in the amount of 1-4% of the completely dry fibrous material. The ratio between the components of the bonding material-modified styrene-acrylate dispersion and rosin is within the ratio 5:1 - 1:1 or styrene-acrylate dispersion and saponified rosin 5:1 - 1:1.
