METHOD FOR POLYETHYLENE PROCESSING LOW DENSITY

This method can be used in the plastics processing industry for creating structural polymers. It uses a simplified process, which improves the physical and mechanical characteristics, tensile strength in particular, of the low-density polyethylene products (LDPP) making use of easily procurable raw materials. This method involves heating a mixture of LDPP granules in excess of activated zeolite at 100-18 degrees C for 3 hours. This is followed by sieving to separate the zeolite.
