A gear selector device (3) for a motor vehicle gearbox (2) of the type which is operated indirectly via a control unit (4) connected to the gear selector device has an operating lever (9) which is mounted pivotable (10, 11) in a first plane for setting of different function positions, and which is designed, in a second plane at right angles to the first plane, to be actuable (12, 13) for changing gear when driving forwards. The driver can thereby carry out all operating of the gear selector device by using the operating lever. |
