The invention is a U-shaped rod made of moulded plastic, 115mm in length,15mm wide and 15mm high, with an incision on both sides allowing the handleloops of a plastic carrier bag to be picked up. On the underside of the saidrod there are cut-away pieces where the fingers fit, so that the inventioncan be used for carrying several plastic bags with no difficulty, at the sametime without the loops of the plastic carrier bags or strings of the packagescutting into the fingers, and also preventing tearing.
