PURPOSE:To manufacture a multi-layer tube joint of superior strength, resistance to heat, resistance to hot water, molding properties, resistance to chemicals and the like by forming an inner layer of a forming material mainly composed of polyether ether ketone or polyether nitrile and forming an outer layer of a forming material mainly composed of other resins. CONSTITUTION:A multi-layer joint A consists of a cylindrical inner layer 1 and a cylindrical outer layer 2 bonded on the outside of the inner layer 1, and a recessed channel 4 is provided on a central section in the longitudinal direction of the outer peripheral surface of the inner layer 1 along the whole periphery, and a base section of the outer layer 2 is fixed in the recessed channel 4. The inner layer 1 directly in contact with liquid is formed, though expensive, by a forming material mainly composed of polyether ether ketone or polyether nitrile of superior resistance to heat, resistance to hot water, resistance to chemicals, resistance to wear, resistance to corrosion and the like. The outer layer is formed by a forming material of superior coloring properties, resistance to pressure, resistance to weather, resistance to impact and the like, although a little inferior to polyether ether ketone an polyether nitrile in its resistance to heat and the like, and thus a multi-layer tube joint to satisfy various physical properties is manufactured while reducing the cost as much as possible. |
