<p>PURPOSE:To achieve the bending and bonding with very high strength by a method in which the groove of almost U shape is formed from the surface of a foamed plastic plate, and the foamed plastic sheet is bent so that the bottom surface of the groove is brought into contact with one side wall of the groove, and the other side wall of the groove is bonded to the surface of the foamed plastic plate. CONSTITUTION:The plate in which a flexible sheet (polyethylene sheet) is stuck to a hard thermoplastic foamed plastic plate (foamed polystyrol plate) 1 is cut into square. Heating nichrome wires 5 are brought into contact with four corners of the plate. Consequently, a groove 4 having almost the same width as the thickness of the foamed polystyrol plate is made under fusion in the foamed polystyrol plate. The foamed polystyrol plate in which the groove has been made is put in a square frame 6 before the molten material is not solidified, and is pushed thereinto from upper side. Consequently, the foamed polystyrol plate is bent so that its bottom surface B is brought into contact with the side wall A of one groove, whereby the side wall A, the bottom surface B, the side wall C of the other groove and the surface D of the foamed polystyrol plate are together bonded by the molten polystyrol, and this bent and bonded part has very high strength.</p> |
