摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a small sized high printing density ink jet printer which is high in jet capacity by a method wherein a plurality of ink nozzles are arranged to one ink gun, and a valve mechanism which controls jet of ink is equipped to each ink nozzle. CONSTITUTION:For instance, eight nozzles 104 are arranged to one ink gun which is equipped with eight jet control valves 103. Jet pressure according to printing density is applied as common internal pressure in the direction 108 from an ink supply passage 106, which supplies liquid ink 102 and besides, generates fundamental pressure for jetting in its inside. Though a jet control valve 103 for each nozzle 104 is opened and closed based on a recording data, when internal pressure in the ink 102 is insufficient based on the number of nozzles to be jetted in that case, a regulation pressure generating mechanism 101 makes up for the shorted internal pressure. When jetting from the nozzle 104 is ended and the regulation pressure generating mechanism 101 returns to a stationary state, the internal pressure of the ink 102 decreases, and a pressure regulation valve 105 opens. The ink is supplied again from the ink supply passage 106 to prepare for next jet.
