PURPOSE:To secure the operation of a device by deciding precedence or delay between two signals totally by using the wide range of a signal. CONSTITUTION:Two signals which are supplied to input terminals 1 and 2 are delayed by delay devices 5 and 6, the time difference between their output signals is detected 7, and a control signal is generated 8 according to the output signals of the delay devices 5 and 6 and a time difference detector 7. At least one of the delay devices 5 and 6 is controlled with the control signal. At this time, two signals inputted to input terminals (a) and (b) of the detector 7 are supplied to delay devices 8 and 10 which delay them by fine times respectively and comparators 9, 11, and 12. Then the comparators 9 and 11 supply signals indicating gradient information on the input signals to the input terminals (a) and (b) on a time base to a decision device 13. The comparator 12 supplies the decision device 13 with signals obtained by comparing the levels of the signals supplied to the terminals (a) and (b) at very short time intervals. The output of the decision device 13 is accumulated by a signal accumulator 14 for every determined time to preclude malfunction. |
