PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having large dielectric constant and small temperature dependence and possible to be sintered at relatively low temperature containing BaTiO3, ZnO, Mn2O3, rare earth oxide, Nb2O5 and/or Ta2O5 and CuO. CONSTITUTION:2-20mol of at least a complex oxide selected from stannate (e.g. barium stannate), titanate (e.g. strontium titanate) and zirconate (e.g. barium zirconate) are added, as necessary, to 100mol of a composition consisting of 84.8-99.39mol% BaTiO3 having <=1mum average particle diameter, 0.2-5.5mol% ZnO, 0.01-0.7mol% Mn2O3, 0.1-1.2mol% rare earth oxide (e.g. La2O3), 0.1-0.8mol% Nb2O5 and/or Ta2O5 0.2-7mol% CuO to afford the aimed composition. |
