PURPOSE:To stabilize a signal which is outputted from an oscillator and also to stabilize a signal induced in a detector with a Coriolis force by feeding the signal induced in the twist detector by the vibration of a tuning fork back to an oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The output signal S1 of an oscillation circuit 11 is applied as an excitation signal to piezoelectric ceramics 1b and 2b of tuning forks 1 and 2. Further, a signal S2 outputted by the piezoelectric ceramic 2c of the tuning fork 2 is applied as a feedback signal to a rectifying circuit 12. Further, a signal S4 outputted by the circuit 12 is inputted to a smoothing circuit 13. Further, a force of inertia operates on this sensor, so Coriolis forces Fc corresponding to the angular speed of rotation operate on the tuning forks 1 and 2 in an X-axial direction. The forces Fc operating on the tuning forks 1 and 2 are in mutually opposite directions. Therefore, the forces in the mutually opposite directions are applied to one thickness-directional surface of the detector 3 connected to the tuning fork 1 through an insulator 6 and the other thickness-directional surface of the detector 3 connected to the tuning fork 2 through an insulator 5. |
