<p>PURPOSE:To surely prevent reckless rotation of an electric motor by providing a stopper member, in which the relative displacement of a member in a transmission mechanism is restricted with the rotation not less than the predetermined of the electric motor impeded, between the electric motor and a clutch of the transmission mechanism for transmitting an output of the electric motor to a rear wheel steering shaft. CONSTITUTION:In a rear wheel steering device, a shaft 200 is rotated by an output of a servomotor 32 through a worm gear mechanism 48 comprising a worm 230 and a worm wheel 214, and by rotating the shaft 200, a rear wheel steering shaft is displaced in the axial direction through a clutch mechanism and pinion.rack mechanism with a rear wheel steered. Here a stopper member 301 is constituted by providing a protrusion part 301a integrally with the worm wheel 214 while a pair of stopper part 301b in a housing 40. When the rear wheel is steered in not less than a predetermined angle by actuating the servomotor 32, by stopping the protrusion part 301a to the one stopper part 301b, abnormal steering of the rear wheel is prevented now simultaneously with the clutch mechanism disconnected.</p> |
