摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease the number of light emitting elements and lighting circuits, to miniatualize a device, to simplify a wiring equipment, to reduce production cost and to save power consumption by moving a light emitting body consisting of the plural light emitting elements arranged in unit lines, allowing the plural light emitting elements to emit light in synchronization with the movement of the light emitting body, and displaying characters, etc., through the use of an afterimage phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:The light emitting body 2 consists of the plural light emitting elements 1 arranged in the unit lines. A driving means 3 moves the light emitting body 2 in a direction intersecting orthogonally with the unit lines, and a storage means 4 holds light emitting data on the light emitting elements 1 at a predcribed position on a plan formed by the movement of the light emitting body 2. A processing means 5 reads out the light emitting data at every unit of the light emitting elements 1 from the storage means 4, and a lighting means 6 drives the light emitting elements 1 in response to signals outputted from the processing means 5. Thus, the light emitting elements 1 are moved and their movement is synchronized with the light emittion of the light emitting body 1, whereby desired characters and patterns, etc., can be displayed. Therefore, the number of the light emitting elements and the lighting circuits can be decreased, the device can be miniatualized, the wiring device can be simplified, the production cost can be reduced, and the power consumption can be saved.
