<p>PURPOSE:To readily manufacture a decorative board having recession and protrusion patterns on its surface by heating and softening a thermosetting resin material being superimposed with a veneer on its surface and sticking the veneer on the surface of the thermosetting resin material while recession and protrusion patterns are formed by means of a die and then curing the thermosetting resin material. CONSTITUTION:A base board 1 is made into a sheet by the use of F R P in which unsaturated polyester is blended in glass fibers and a lumber sheet cut off from lumber is employed for a veneer 2 and a treatment for easily bending is given thereto. When the base board 1 and the veneer 2 are laid on each other and they are pressed by means of upper and lower dies 3, 4 while heating the veneer 2, the veneer 2 and the base board 1 come to close into contact with each other and thus the recession and protrusion patterns provided on the dies 3, 4 are formed on its surface. As the temperature is raised higher than the curing temperature of a thermosetting resin material or higher, the base board 1 is cured and in consequence a decorative board 7 is formed wherein the thermosetting resin material is used as the base board 1 and the veneer 2 is stuck on its surface.</p> |
