PURPOSE:To contrive a thinner configuration of an air filter, by forming a dust-collecting filter member into a corrugated shape to make a dust-collecting filter, and placing a deodorizing filter member in trough parts of the dust- collecting filter. CONSTITUTION:A dust-collecting filter 14 is produced by a method wherein a polypropylene nonwoven fabric 16 provided with electric charges is fusion bonded to a flat plate form reinforcing net 15, followed by corrugating the bonded assembly. A deodorizing filter 17 is contained in trough parts 21 of the dust-collecting filter 14, and has granular activated carbon attached to a net form formed polyurethane. An auxiliary frame 19 is applied from the side of the filter 14, and is attached to a main frame 12 to enclose both of the filter 14, 17. With ridge parts 22 of the deodorizing filter 17 thus contained in the trough parts 21 of the dust-collecting filter 14, it is possible to reduce the thickness l of a base plate 18 of the deodorizing filter 14 exposed from the dust-collecting filter 14, and therefore to reduce also the thickness of the main frame 12 enclosing the filters 14, 17 therein. Thus, it is possible to decrease the space for containing an air filter 8, namely, the spacing A between a heat exchanger 4 and a pre-filter 7. |
