PURPOSE:To easily obtain an air bag strong further with a soft feeling by overlapping cut pieces of a base cloth in the reverse and obverse with the bag sewed further applying synthetic resin to the reverse of the base cloth to form a film thereafter reversing the bag to place the obverse of the base cloth in the outside. CONSTITUTION:In manufacture, first a base cloth, consisting of predetermined material, is cut with port part cloth 1 and a bottom part cloth 2 respectively prepared. While an opening 1a for introducing expansion gas is formed in the center of the port part cloth 1 with a plurality of exhaust holes 1b formed in a side of this opening 1a, respectively, further an edge cloth 3 is sewed in a doughnut shape in the periphery of the opening 1a. Further the port part cloth 1 and the bottom part cloth 2 are piled and sewed along the periphery to form a bag. Next the bottom part cloth 2 of the bag is faced to the upper further with a masking sheet 4 attached under the opening 1a and the exhaust hole 1b, and by coating the upper of the port part cloth 1 and the base cloth 3 with a coating material consisting of synthetic resin, a film cloth 5 is formed in an external surface total unit of the bag. Successively by reversing the bag, an air bag 10, having the film 5 in the internal surface, is completed. |
