<p>PURPOSE:To change a key arrangement in accordance with the manipulation of operator by superposing a plane display for displaying a key arrangement specified by a key arrangement specification switch to a perspective plane switch to constitute a keyboard. CONSTITUTION:When power is supplied to the keyboard, a CPU 10 inputs the state of the key arrangement specification switch 3 and displays a previously set key arrangement on the plane display 1 in accordance with the inputted state of the switch 3. When the surface of the perspective plane switch 2 is depressed with a finger in the status. The X, Y coordinates of the depressed operation position are inputted to the CPU 10. An ASCII code value corresponding to the key displayed on the coordinates is computed by the CPU 10 and outputted to a personal computer 10 or the like through a transmission interface 50. When the switch 3 is switched thereafter, the display of the key arrangement is changed by the same processing as that executed at the time of turning on the power supply.</p> |
