<p>PURPOSE:To reduce installation space and to improve installation workability by providing a switching means for selectively switching the connecting path between an exciting transformer and a control rectifying means and a connecting path between a manual voltage regulator and a rectifying means, and a DC power source unit for feeding initial exciting current to exciting winding. CONSTITUTION:Upon finish of starting operation, output voltage of an armature winding 1a is detected through an exciting transformer 2 and fed through a switch 15a to a control rectifying means 8 thence to a rectifying means 14 through a manual voltage regulator 10 and a switch 15b. Automatic output control of a generator 1 is carried out by detecting the output voltage of the armature winding 1a, controlling the phase of a thyristor 5, and feeding an exciting current through the switch 15a to an exciting winding 1b. Manual output control of the generator 1 is carried out by opening the first switch, rectifying the current from the manual voltage regulator 10 through the second switch 15b and feeding the rectified current to the exciting winding 1b.</p> |
