PURPOSE: To realize satisfactory diffusion of light and air, by forming a negative pressure region in a light diffuser panel mounted on a luminaire base by forced air flowing through a nozzle so as to cause air to be drawn through the panel. CONSTITUTION: A light diffuser panel 14 is mounted on a luminaire base 15 fixed to the ceiling of a car of a subway train, or the like. Light from a fluorescent lamp 19 in the panel 14 is diffused by being refracted, reflected, and scattered by a group 17 of parallel disposed longitudinal elements made of a translucent material to provide satisfactory illumination in the car. Meanwhile, a negative pressure region is formed in an upper surface region of the panel 14 by forced air flowing through a nozzle 28 provided in the base 15 and having an inlet and outlet of a required cross-section, air is drawn through the panel 14, and therefore air diffusion is satisfactorily performed and cooling is conducted against heat emission. |
