<p>PURPOSE:To stack sent-out sheets smoothly and certainly by furnishing a guide plate, which supports each sheet sent out and is rotatable round the axis stretching in the sheet sendout direction when the sheet is set off from a transport means, and providing a tray for stacking of the sheets which drop with rotation of the guide plate. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet 26 is sent out from an exhaust roller 28, a guide plate 46 once supports the sheet 26. When the training edge of the sheet 26 goes apart from the exhaust roller 28, a sheet sensor 44 senses this trailing edge of sheet 26, which operates a solenoid 54 to cause contraction of an actuator against the energization force of a return spring. This contraction of the actuator rotates a shaft 48 coupled with the actuator through an arm, which puts the guide plate 46 in inclined condition. Therefore, the sheet 26 drops by its own weight along the guide plate 46 and is put on the stack formed in a tray 66.</p> |
