<p>PURPOSE:To perform sorting of articles faster and improve loading efficiency in loading of articles on a pallet, etc., by providing a meah in a cross section intersecting the depth direction of a container at right angles, indicating the dimensions of articles by the number of meashes occupied by the articles, the traverse magnitude and the nose-position, and planning the stacking operations based on these data. CONSTITUTION:A mesh 3 is provided in a cross section intersecting the depth direction of a container 1 at right angles, and the dimensions of arranged articles are indicated by the number of meashes 3. For example, an article 21 measures 5.6 meshes in X direction, 2.6 meshes in Y direction, and occupies a rectangle indicated by the origin and the coordinates (5, 3). An article 22 is thus arranged in X direction with its nose positioned at the mesh coordinates (6, 0), when it can be arranged. When there is no article to be arranged in this space, stacking operation is performed from the original position of the container. This planning is performed by the use of an electronic computer. By this constitution, sorting of articles is performed faster and loading efficiency can be improved.</p> |
