发明名称 PRODUCTION OF LOW-HYDROGEN MOLTEN PIG IRON
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To easily produce a molten pig iron reduced in hydrogen content by using pure oxygen as a combustion supporting gas to be blown through tuyeres and also using, as a gas for cooling the tuyeres, CO2, Ar, H2, hydrocarbon, etc., in which hydrogen content is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A molten low hydrogen pig iron is produced by using a cylindrical furnace and combining scraps with iron ores. At this time, pure oxygen is used as a combustion supporting gas to be blown through a primary tuyere and a secondary tuyere. As a gas for cooling the tuyeres, CO2, Ar, H2, and hydrocarbon gases are used independently or in combination in the form of gaseous mixture, and further, hydrogen content in the whole cooling gas is controlled to <=0.4kg per ton of molten pig iron. It is desirable to tap the resulting molten pig iron under reduced pressure. By this method, the molten pig iron of about 0.5ppm hydrogen content can be obtained.</p>
