PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy of a cut-in mouth by making a zigzag cutter receiving roller with an outside dia. greater than that of a zigzag cutter roller, and thereby lessening the cut-in resistance of the zigzag cutter. CONSTITUTION:Each leaf in parallel fold is transported under being pinched by an upper and a lower exhaust belt, and when it passes a zigzagging device 10, its position provided for chopper fold line is subjected to cut-in process with a rotating zigzag cutter 36 and a ring-shaped groove in a rotating zigzag cutter receiving roller 39. At this cut-in process with the zigzagging device 10, the amount of intrusion by the zigzag cutter 36 is lessened for the folded leaf intruding between these rollers 36, 39 by making the zigzag cutter receiving roller 39 with an outside dia. greater than that of the zigzag cutter roller 36, so that the folded leaf is transported without bend to cause the cut-in processing line to be identical with the chopper fold line. |
