The action toy is provided with a control circuit for controlling the direction and time of motor rotation to move the toy in the direction of sound detection in response to the finding of the sound signal by a sound sensor. The control system is arranged that detector section (1) is serially connected to a band pass filter section (2) to a comparison amplifier (3) to first sound detection circuit (4), whose output terminal connects to a region setting section (5) to determine the directional regions D1-D6. A wave cycle setter (7) connects to a time control (10) and a motor control signal logic circuit (9) connecting with a differtiation circuit (6) and the sound detector (4). The output terminal of the section (5) connects to a rotation time control (8) to connect via the control signal logic circuit (9) with left and sight motor drives (11,12).
