PURPOSE:To make bubbles release from a discharge port easily by a method wherein an ink guide surface of which angle with the extension line of a liquid path stays in a specific range is equipped in the direction from an ink receiving part to a liquid path, toward a liquid chamber. CONSTITUTION:Bubbles are removed from a liquid chamber which has a tilt to the extension line of a liquid path by pumping recovery. The tilt angle is preferably 5 deg. or more and 40 deg. or less, end 35 deg. or less is preferable in the actual use. For example, a plurality of recessed parts to form an ink liquid path 140 exist on a top plate 7 by bonding the top plate 7 to a base 8 on which a plurality of discharge energy generating elements 22 are formed. Also, on a wall 12 and inner wall surfaces 13, 14 at the right and left of the wall 12 in a common liquid chamber 15 from an ink feeding port to the recessed part for a liquid path, a tilt is provided, and the tilt angle is 22 deg.. This tilt is an angle by which bubbles of 50-400mum, which enter the common liquid chamber, are easily released. By this angle, the bubbles which have entered the liquid chamber are smoothly discharged from a discharge port along the walls, and easily discharged by pumping recovery. |
