PURPOSE:To mold a flange provided with a collor on one end of a cylindrical body without requiring its finishing or correcting working, and to reduce a cost of a flange for a drive shaft cover, by performing the reducing and punching working to a metallic plate material having plasticity, by use of punch and a die. CONSTITUTION:A discoid plate material 9 having plasticity and consisting of mild iron is worked by reducing in order by various punches 10 and dies 11, and an intermediate product of a collared and bottomed cylindrical type is molded. Subsequently, the bottom part is punched by a punch 13 and a die 14, and also the reducing and molding are performed so that the diameter D1 of the bottom side becomes small and the diameter D2 of the collar side becomes large. After that, a bolt hole 6 is pierced on a collar part 3 by means of punching, which is made a flange for a drive shaft cover 7. |
