<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the welding strength of the brush wires of a wire bundle by inlay-welding a different metal at both sides of the part of the wire bundle to be welded, positioning the outer ends of the different metals in the scope within five times the wire diameter from the brush wires at both sides of the wire bundle, and seam-welding the wire bundle. CONSTITUTION:While different metals 8 and 8' are inlay-welded at least at both sides of the welding area of a wire bundle 2 in the crosspieces of a belt- form base member 6, the outer ends 8a and 8'a of the different metals are positioned in the scope within five times the wire diameter from the brush wires 1 at both sides of the wire bundle 2. As a result, the heat of the brush wires 1 at the both sides generated by the seam-welding hardly escapes from the cross-pieces 7 to the both sides of the belt-form base member 6, and the temperature of the brush wires 1 at the both sides is made almost the same as that of the brush wire 1 at the center. Consequently, the welding strength is made almost equal, and the welding strength of the brush wires 1 of the wire bundle 2 is stabilized.</p> |
