PURPOSE:To improve the stereophonic sense of sound by controlling 1st and 2nd level adjustment circuits complementarily with a correlation output of left and right signals. CONSTITUTION:A left side signal fed to an input terminal 2a is fed to a correlation circuit 10. Moreover, a right signal fed to an input terminal 3a is fed to the correlation circuit 10. A rear signal fed to an input terminal 4 is subjected to complementary level adjustment at 1st and 2nd level adjustment circuits 20, 30, led to output terminals 4b, 4c to form a rear left signal and a rear right signal. An output of the correlation circuit 10 (correlation output) is outputted as a voltage depending on a phase difference alpha. The attenuation of the 1st and 2nd level adjustment circuits 20, 30 is adjusted by the correlation output. Thus, since a sound level difference is given to the rear left signal and the rear right signal in response to the level of the correlation output level, in other words, in response to a time difference between the left signal and the right signal, the sound separation is attained. |
