Device making it possible to join together wooden elements without allowing the small iron work connection modules to be seen. It comprises 2 steel nuts with double screw threads which each screw, by an action on the screwing slot, into a wooden member, by virtue of its external screw thread, and a steel threaded rod which screws at each end into the internal screw thread of the nuts. The invention may be used for erecting and assembling shelf units made from wood or any other equivalent material. <IMAGE>
