PURPOSE:To easily open and close side plates of a truck bed, by vertically dividing the side plate of the bed into two parts and performing open-close operation of the lower side plate through an oil hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A side plate 3 is divided into two parts, an upper side plate 3a and lower side plate 3b, and the upper side plate 3a is swingably mounted by a mounting pin 5 pivotally to a fixed bracket 4 provided to a strut 2 vertically provided on a truck bed. The lower side plate 3b is mounted with its bottom end to the bed by a pin 6, and can be securely bound to the strut 2 by stopping a pin 7, provided to the top part of the lower side plate 3b, with a lock member 8 pivotally mounted to the strut 2. An oil hydraulic cylinder 9 is provided between the strut 2 and the lower side plate 3b and coupled to the long hole in a bracket 10 of the strut 2 to open and close the lower side plate 3b, then a protruding member 11, for releasing said lock member by initial action of the cylinder, is provided in the intermediate part of said cylinder. |
