PURPOSE:To attach and detach a drum cartridge safely, securely, and easily by providing a guide rail, a guide rail introduction part, the photosensitive drum cartridge, and a cartridge guide member. CONSTITUTION:Each end, which is close to a drum center, of guide blocks 510A and 510B on the both sides, one on each side, of the photosensitive drum cartridge 500 is placed on corresponding horizontal guide rail introduction part 712A; the each end is pushed in the horizontal direction, and is slid on the guide rail introduction part 712A until it strikes against the guide surface in the rear of the guide rail 712; at this moment in time, the rear part of the drum cartridge 500 is lifted upwards so that the cartridge inclines an angle of 45 deg. ; accordingly the cartridge is set in the prescribed position and the loading is completed. On the other hand, when the each end is slid obliquely upwards an angle of 45 deg. along the guide rail 712 to lift the cartridge, and it horizontally inclines, the each to the guide members 510A and 510B is placed on the corre sponding guide rail introduction part 712A, and the drum cartridge 500 is taken out of the device. Thus, the photosensitive drum cartridge can be safely and securely handled without requiring special skill. |
