PURPOSE:To remove restrictions of time from kneading to molding and make mass productivity available by performing molding with the principal agent of a cold setting type resin as a binder, and after that by impregnating the molding with a setting agent. CONSTITUTION:First of all, only the principal agent of a cold setting resin and a magnetic powder are mixed and at a stage of performing molding, its compact is impregnated with a setting agent. A solid state binder in which the molecular weights of a bisphenol A epoxy resin and the like are 900 or more is used as the principal agent and about 1-8% of its binder is added to the magnetic powder. In a molding process of this mixture powder, a spacing factor is adjusted within 65-85% because of impregnating properties of the setting agent and shape holding properties of the compact. Further, the setting agent has low viscosity with which the compact is liable to be impregnated and amine agents, i.e., polymethylene diamine and the like which may suppress heat of reaction with the principal agent are used in the setting agent. Time restrictions for manufacturing the compact are removed and mass production efficiency is thus improved. |
