PURPOSE:To make a mist blowing port variable and to enable a humidifier to be operated even at a narrow space by a method wherein the humidifier is formed into a substantially rectangular column shape, operation switches occupying both surface are provided at an edge line of a main body of the humidifier and further a slidable plate is arranged at a longitudinal direction of the blowing port. CONSTITUTION:Since a shape of a humidifier is formed into a substantial square column shape, the humidifier becomes an elongated shape. The humidifier can be mounted even at a narrow place. Even if the humidifier is placed at the narrow place and one of wall surfaces 4 and 5 capable of being switch operated at 9 and 10 is hidden behind a side object, the switches 9 and 10 at an edge line can be operated unless one of the walls 4 and 5 is hidden. A switch for turning-on or -off the humidifier 1 or illuminating a lower surface of a water supply tank can be operated and then the humidifier 1 can be used. At this time, if mist from a blowing port 11 is apt to strike against the side object, a changing plate 12 is moved to vary a mist blowing direction. When the changing plate 12 is placed at a central part of the blowing port 11, mist can be blown from both ends of the blowing port 11 to two directions, i.e., in a wide range.. |
