PURPOSE:To automatically set a maximum value of a laser output power in a shirt time and with high accuracy without relying on a human system by a method wherein a power value of a laser output is detected, it is taken into operated and one after another and a direction of rotation of a motor in each movable part is instructed. CONSTITUTION:A laser output power radiated from a laser 1 is divided by means of a beam splitter 8; it is always detected by means of a power detector 9 and is taken into a comparison part 12 one after another. A mechanical back lash caused by a feed screw 4 and a movable base 5 is set at a setting part 14 of a correction value. The correction value is compared with a power value sent out momentarily from the comparison part 12 and is operated at a central operation part 13; it is added to an instruction of a direction of motor rotation of a movable part. The instruction of the direction of motor rotation is sent out to an X-axis motor 17 and a Y-axis motor 18 via an X-axis motor rotation instruction part 17 and a Y-axis motor rotation instruction part 15. Thereby, it is possible to automatically set a maximum value of the laser output power in a short time and with high accuracy without relying on a human system. |
