<p>PURPOSE:To avoid production of achromatic false signal, color shading and flicker and to improve vertical resolution by selecting a color filter for each picture element to be a filter having a single spectral characteristic and obtaining a luminance signal and a color signal for each line. CONSTITUTION:A picture element Cy having a 1st spectral characteristic and a picture element Wy having a 2nd spectral characteristic are arranged alternate ly in a 1st horizontal line and a luminance signal is obtained from the sum of signals from a signal from a picture element having the 1st spectral character istic Cy and a signal from a picture element having the 2nd spectral characteris tic Wy and a red signal is obtained from the difference. A picture element Wc having a 3rd spectral characteristic Wc and a picture element having a 4th spectral characteristic Ye are arranged alternately in a 2nd horizontal line, and a luminance signal is oftained from the sum of signals from a signal from a picture element having the 3rd spectral characteristic and a signal from a picture element having the 4th spectral characteristic and a blue signal is obtained from the difference. Thus, a picture with high resolution is obtained and production of color shading, flicker and color false signal is suppressed.</p> |
