发明名称 APPARATUS FOR STABILIZING FREQUENCY OF SEMICONDUCTOR ARRAY LASER
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable stable operation with a simple structure independent of the number of laser elements by a method wherein respective oscillation light frequencies of laser elements are controlled to specific oscillation light frequencies respectively according to characteristics of the laser elements with respect to one laser element. CONSTITUTION:Each oscillation light frequency of each laser element of a semiconductor array laser 10 is set with specific equal frequency intervals by a driving means 11, an output light of one laser element is collected by a light distinguishing means 14, the light is converted to light intensity according to the oscillation light frequency and sent to a detecting means 16. The detecting means 16 compares this received signal intensity with reference signal intensity of specific oscillation light frequency to detect a frequency shift amount for the specific oscillation light freuqnecy on one laser element. A feedback means 17 controls the driving means 11 so that the oscillation light frequency matches the specific oscillation light frequency based on the detected frequency shift amount of one laser element. Thus an apparatus independent of the number of laser elements can be obtained.
