<p>PURPOSE:To relieve the burden of a filter by locking a front case to the front upper portion of a body frame covered by a front cover, arranging the head portion of an inlet pipe in which an air suction hole provided at the upper part thereof so that the inlet pipe can be extended backward along the side of the body frame and connected to an air filter. CONSTITUTION:An upper pipe 4a has the front portion mounted with a front case 15 to house a spark plug, etc., at the upper part of which the head portion 21 of an inlet pipe 20 is arranged. The head portion 21 is formed in oblateness in which air suction open holes 21b, 21e, 21f are provided. The head portion 21 ranges from a sideways rectangular neck portion 22 to a longitudinally pentagonal web portion 23, which is extended backward along the upper frame 4a of a body frame. Then, the tail portion 24 of the inlet pipe 20 is tilted downward and connected to an air filter 25 which is arranged at the rear part of an engine 5. It is thus possible to relieve the load of a filter and enlarge the size of the inlet pipe.</p> |
