PURPOSE:To exclude the mixture of an error and to shorten the execution time due to missing of the application of a patch data and the elimination of manual operation by providing a means for the transmission/reception and the management of the patch data to a packet switching board. CONSTITUTION:When an operator inputs an object patch (address designation, content of correction) and its classification with an operation maintenance command from the keyboard display device 19 of a packet switching board 2, the packet switching board stores 2 the entered patch and the classification into a magnetic disk device 18 connected thereto. The packet switching board 2 reads the content of the patch from the magnetic disk device 18 and sends it continuously to protocol converters 4, 5, 6 connected to itself in the packet of a specific format. Moreover, the packet is sent to other packet switching board 3 connected thereto simultaneously similarly and the response is monitored.
