Producing sink or wash-basin for work-top - by clamping plastics foil in by finger recess of work-top by finger screws attached via fixing pins

Finger screws (3) are used to clamp the recessed sink in position. Each of these finger screws is attached to the outside of the sink or washbasin via a fixing pin (4), the sink or basin is made of pressed steel covered with a thin coating of plastics (6), which remains intact upon location of the fixing pins. Pref., the fixing pins are secured by contact welding, each pin having a cylindrical shaft between opposing end discs of larger dia. ADVANTAGE - Fixings are not visible from front face of sink or washbasin.
