Regulating pulsed current for three=phase motor - using two point regulator controlling transistor or thyristor power output stage

A two point regulator (18) is coupled to a summing element (4) supplied with the actual and the required motor currents (X,W) and a sawtooth clock signal (D'). The amplitude of the latter is adjusted in dependence on the EMF of the motor (M) in inverse proportion, the summing element (4) being further supplied with an EMF pre-control signal (E). Pref. the current regulator (15) supplied with the difference between the actual and required motor current provides an output (B) limited by the positive and negative peak values of the clock signal. ADVANTAGE - Improved characteristic at higher frequencies.
