Jackman A mounting device for use in mounting objects such as lights and the like on picture frames and the like comprises a clip member for attachment to an edge portion of the frame and a channel member for co-operating with the clip member and to provide a mounting for the object. The clip member includes a hook portion for fitting over an upper edge of the frame and a channel engaging portion for depending from the hoop portion and provided with a detent. The channel member defines a channel having undercut lateral edge portions for slidably co-operating with respective lateral edges of the clip member, and spaced detent engaging portions for releasably engaging the detent of the clip member and retaining the members in one of a plurality of relative positions.
