<p>PURPOSE:To provide a printer having excellent workability to a market at low cost by making a section between a printing head and a platen openable- closable by lever operation. CONSTITUTION:A lock control lever 20 installed to a base frame 17 is worked when a paper jam is removed, a ribbon is exchanged and machine glazed paper is exchanged, thus changing over a body unit and a paper-feed unit to an open state or a printable closed state. Consequently, a section between a printing head 1 and a platen 13 is widened under the open state, thus easily conducting the removal of the paper jam, the exchange of the ribbon and the exchange of the machine glazed paper. Accordingly, operation is performed simply in a short time, and a printer is composed of few parts having simple structure, thus providing the printer to a market at low cost.</p> |
