PURPOSE:To obtain an edge-lay type composite material belt with thin contact thickness and uniform thickness by connecting a triangular contact material belt to the center flat section on the upper face of a belt-shaped different- diameter base material, rolling it in the width direction, and finishing it into a rectangular cross section. CONSTITUTION:A triangular contact material belt 7 is connected to the center flat section on the upper face of a belt-shaped different-diameter base material 9 by hot rolls 10. It is then rolled in the width direction by rolling rolls 11, and it is finished into a rectangular cross section by four-face restricting Turk's- head rolls 12 to obtain a composite contact belt material 13. A triangular top is molded and pressed flat, the connection boundary face is pressed flat, and the thickness of a connection contact is made uniform. An edge-lay type composite material belt with thin contact thickness and uniform thickness is obtained. |
