PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency and to form the org. photoconductor having a high sensitivity by matching an electrical conduction path with an electrical conduction direction. CONSTITUTION:A long-chain high polymer having a specific functional group is used for a film forming polymer and is compressed from one direction or two opposite directions on a liquid surface to form the org. thin film oriented in a certain specific direction within the film plane at the gas-liquid boundary. The film is thereafter transferred onto a solid substrate by a sticking method or dipping method and the photoconductive high polymer is arranged on the formed thin film by reflecting the orientability of the lower layer. Since the oriented org. thin film is used for the substrate in such a manner, the epitaxial growth of the org. material to be formed on the upper layer is possible. The electrical conduction path is matched with the electrical conduction direction in this way and the transmission efficiency is improved, by which the org. photoconductor having the high sensitivity is obtd.
