PURPOSE:To eliminate a stain due to a developer preventing the developer dipping from the lowermost part surface hitting the aperture of an air knife injection slit by locating at a downstream side from the lowermost part surface of an electric charge holding medium along the moving direction of the electric charge holding medium. CONSTITUTION:The developer dipping from the surface of the electric charge holding medium 21 is collected and dips downward to the lowermost part surface of the electric charge holding medium 21 between the squeezing means 65 of a wet developing means 60 and a transfer means 25. When the developer gets the air knife injection slit 91 wet and toner is fixed on the aperture part or inside of the slit 91, the elimination of an excessive solution is performed insufficiently due to the turbulence of an air knife current. Therefore, the aperture of the air knife injection slit 91 is located at the downstream side from the lowermost part surface of the electric charge holding medium 21 along the moving direction of the electric charge holding medium 21. Thereby, the developer dipping from the lowermost part surface can be prevented hitting the aperture of the slit, which prevents the stain due to the developer occurring. |
