<p>In a radial compressor with a bladed diffusor (4, 4a, 4b) connected downstream of the impeller (1), the compression shocks occurring in front of the blades (9, 10) on the radial guide vane ring (11) are to be stabilised. To achieve this the blades (9, 10) of the radial guide vane ring (11) are manufactured with two different alternating lengths and slots (7a, 7b), which are connected to a rear reservoir chamber (8a, 8b), are so disposed that the slots (7a, 7b) are positioned at least approximately at right angles in front of the short blades (9) and extend as far as the side of the leading edges (10a) of the nearest long blades (10). <IMAGE></p> |
